But what begins as an ideal vacation for its guests soon turns into an exploration of power dynamics, internal conflicts, and dark secrets that emerge beneath the facade of perfection.

The first season is set in Hawaii, while the second takes place in Sicily. The third has been announced to occur in Thailand, which seems to be a formula that its creator will continue in the future. In both seasons, there is a mystery: a corpse appears at the beginning, and the rest of the season tries to uncover who it is and how this person ended up at the resort.
